Who We Are
With over 35 years of existence in the homecare market, Global Consumer Products (Pvt) Ltd is a long-standing, preferred manufacturer of tissue and hygiene products in Sri Lanka, operating under the Finex Tissues brand. Serving more than 1,000 clients nationwide, we offer a diverse portfolio of eco-friendly solutions—including tissues, food care range, and biodegradable garbage bags. We are also proud to be the first company to introduce oxo-biodegradable garbage bag manufacturing in Sri Lanka, reaffirming our commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
Our ISO 9000-certified facility in Padukka combines advanced technology with strong community values, employing a dedicated workforce from the surrounding region. We take pride in being the first company in Sri Lanka to locally manufacture pocket tissue, continuing to push the boundaries of quality, sustainability, and customer care through ongoing innovation.

Global Consumer Products (Pvt) Ltd is a proudly Sri Lankan company and an industry pioneer, having introduced consumer-packaged garbage bags to the local market over three decades ago. From our humble beginnings as Global Packaging Service, we have grown into a trusted manufacturer of tissue and other food careproducts under our flagship brand, Finex.
Built on a strong foundation of innovation and a deep commitment to sustainability, our product portfolio has grown to include a wide range of high-quality hygiene and food care solutions. These include toilet tissues, facial tissues, paper napkins, multifold towels, kitchen rolls, industrial toilet rolls, and bed rolls. Complementing our hygiene line, we also offer food care products under trusted brand names—Eco garbage bags and Guardian aluminium foil and cling wrap—designed to meet everyday needs with reliability and environmental responsibility.
Our ISO 9000-certified, eco-conscious facility located in the tranquil Padukka area is more than a manufacturing hub—it’s a community cornerstone employing over 75 dedicated employees from the same area. Factory Operations
Our manufacturing facility is located in the Padukka area, where we are proud to support the local economy by employing over 75 dedicated employeess from the surrounding communities. We utilize state-of-the-art technology in our production process, operating under ISO 9000 certification to ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Our factory adheres strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and many of our employees have been part of our team for over 2 decades, reflecting our commitment to a positive and stable work environment.
As an eco-conscious brand, our factory is also designed and managed to minimize environmental impact. We implement sustainable practices that not only preserve the local ecosystem but also ensure the health and safety of our workers.
